This position will be leading on bids/proposals during a new phase of Skynet on a £200million project involving the production of brand new Satellites.

Essential qualifications / experience:

• You will have significant experience in the space and/or aerospace industry, ideally in defence, delivering projects/programmes ~£100M.

• Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects across the entire lifecycle

• Delivery and acceptance of complex hardware design projects to the agreed baseline

• Demonstrable Team building with suppliers and customer

• Hold a recognised PM Qualification (APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent)

• Technical degree or equivalent knowledge/experience

• Experience of managing international delivery

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management with 8 years of experience, OR Masters Degree with 6 years of experience.

• 5 + Years of previous relevant experience working satellite/aerospace delivery programs for commercial, civil, and / or defence customers

• Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 or equivalent certifications.

• Requires knowledge and experience with executing program management, risk management identification and mitigation, schedule management, EVM, and cost control.

• Requires experience on delivering hardware programs from through all phases of the life cycle - requirements, design, development, manufacturing, assembly, integration, test, and fielding.

• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience - ability to collaborate across multiple functions and stakeholders.
