Operating in an Project Engineering Manager role you will be a Professional Engineer responsible for key projects dealing with all engineering disciplines and all aspects of a design process from an initial project kick off meeting to global launch.

Your responsibilities will include:

+ Manage the design process after handover of the initial concept, through the development process, prototype build and eventual product launch.

+ Participate, contribute and review the design to technically influence the product

+ Control the specification of the product through Design Review, Validation, Verification meetings.

+ Communicate through Project Reviews etc, updates of the Project

+ Manage the following aspects of the Project:

    • Project plan

    • Product requirements and specification

    • Test procedures and work instructions

    • Product manuals and reports

+ Work with mechanical, electrical, electronic and software engineers to bring the products to production on time and in budget.

+ Ensure the Design and Development procedure outlined in the QMS is adhered to and all relevant documentation and test data is produced, recorded and available for inspection

+ Work with the Document Control Team ensuring all BoM's are prepared and up to date

You will be able to showcase the following skills:

+ Engineering knowledge of mechancial, electrical, electronic and software with a strong affiliation to one.

+ Managed Engineering projects with a proven track record of successful released products.

+ Ideally PMP or similar PM professional qualification or PRINCE2 qualified.
