JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be responsible for managing all activities in the life cycle of a project or group of projects, demonstrating an agile mind-set to actively and positively influence the team's performance and project outcomes.

You will:

  • Lead with the customer community, earning their trust and inspiring confidence through your energy, thoroughness and consistent delivery of undertakings

  • Ensure that all contractual obligations are successfully achieved

  • Monitor project performance, defining actions aimed at the improvement of project performance to maximise the economic and financial objectives of the project

  • Ensure achievement of project goals during the entire lifecycle of project

  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and the customer to maximise customer satisfaction

  • Ensure the effective application of all governance requirements

  • Visit client site regularly to ensure effective relationships with the customer and delivery team

You should have:

  • Proven experience of managing successful IT projects in the domain of sensitive and operationally critical systems

  • Ability to both communicate with and influence stakeholders

  • An agile mind set and ability to build and lead a high performing team

Nice to Have:

  • An understanding and experience with DevOps

  • An understanding of Cloud Technology and modern IT service approaches such as Infrastructure, Platform and Software as a Service

  • A good working knowledge of Wintel IT systems with a broad scope of skills and experience of mainstream IT infrastructure services and components.
