SAP FICO Functional Consultant: You will join a blue chip IT consultancy working with a defence prime end client. The role will see you successfully transition a company code from SAP to a third party ERP system, specialising in the SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) functional area. Analyse data and processes in order to specify the extraction program to be written. Support the client whilst SAP is in use with month end tasks with any support issues raised. Post transition support of the new ERP vendor in regards to data and process issues. Assist in closing down the company post transition and cleaning of the company code in accordance with regulatory/statutory reporting.

Duties and responsibilities

* Working with the client to successfully transition a company code from SAP to a third party ERP system.

* General support of the SAP system during the transition phase including month end processing.

* Post transition support of the new ERP vendor with respect to data and process issues.

* Assist in closing down the company code in SAP post transition.

* Clean the company code data post transition in SAP in line with regulatory reporting.
