Service Desk Analyst (Contract - inside IR35)
21st June - 30th Sept 2021 (possibly extended)
Our client are one of the UK's largest children's charities, supporting children and their family who have a range of learning difficulties, disabilities and complex needs, with both residential, respite and outreach services.
They now require 2 x contract Service Desk Analysts, to work from home for an initial period of 2 months. investigating and resolving incidents and underlying technical problems to agreed service level agreements.
Skills/Experience - Service Desk Analyst
+ GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent)
+ IS Support qualification (such as MCP or A+) or equivalent experience
+ Advanced support qualification such as MCSE
+ ITIL foundation qualification
+ Knowledge and understanding of IT configuration management
+ Carrying out tasks such as raising orders, invoice processing and asset recording
+ Experience of working in service support environment
+ Support and development in a Microsoft environment
+ Demonstrable track record of using Service Desk systems
+ Confident working in a customer facing environment
Responsibilities - Service Desk Analyst
+ Provide a professional technical service through face to face, telephone, ticket based and/or email communication
+Carry out the fulfilment of service requests
+ Take responsibility for incident management, to resolve technical (inc. complex) incidents, quickly and efficiently within SLA timescales
+ Maintain the Technology configuration management database
+ Investigate and identify trends, gathering evidence to support further investigation by the appropriate teams
