Job Spec:

Due to sustained growth and the evolution of business requirements of our customer base, the Intelligence Solutions business seeking to expand our Software Support capability.
We are therefore looking to recruit an IT Software Support Systems Engineer serve primary to address technical issues relating to software implementations, functions and upgrades. Software support engineer also works closely with the senior Software Support engineers to identify and resolve any technical Incidents/Problems that may arise during the day.

The role will require excellent team working attributes but also requires the ability to take responsibility and accountability for individual to work independently.


* Assist in the overall implementation of new applications for the Special Projects Team's Customers
* Assist in testing and rollout of developed applications and technologies
* Provide application support to existing deployed services
* Contribute to the improvement and efficiency of the Special Projects Team
* Comfortable fielding calls in a dynamic support environment
* Strong experience with talking customers through to resolution
* As required lead on application development work
* Troubleshoot application support issues as required
* Contribute to the improvement and efficiency of the Special Projects Team

Mandatory:

  • Strong C# development encompassing ASP.NET

  • Strong SQL Server development (stored procedures / user defined functions; performance and tuning)

  • HTML/CSS

  • JavaScript/JQuery

  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills

  • Strong analytical skills (elucidating and articulating client requirements)

  • Flexible and adaptable attitude, capable of acquiring new skills

  • Comfortable fielding calls in a dynamic support environment

  • Strong experience with talking customers through to resolution


Highly Desirable:


C# development encompassing:

  • ADO.Net

  • Windows Services development

  • SharePoint 2013 (On Premises) development (web parts; master pages; page layouts; content types)

  • SQL Server Administration
