Support Worker Position:
We are looking for a number of dedicated and responsible Support Workers who will happily take on duties such as, personal care, administering and safe storage of medication, and the provision of a 24/7 care within a residential care home setting for adults with epilepsy and complexe healthcare needs. Senior Support Worker - Responsibilities:

  • Carry out care duties as per service user care plans

  • Support with and/or carry out personal care duties

  • Administration of medication and clinical procedures

  • Promoting communication and participation within the community

  • Ensure all records are maintained and duly uploaded into the appropriate database

  • Attending professional meetings where required with family, clinicians and social care professionals

  • Building and maintaining professional positive working relationships

Support Worker - Qualifications:

  • A current enhanced DBS

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or Equivalent experience

Senior Support Worker - Competence:

  • Understand and adhere to the Standards of safeguarding

  • Being familiar with and comply with Health & Safety procedures and policy

  • Being able to take immediate action in the event of serious risk

  • Cross function with other departments to ensure values and strategic objectives are achieved

Senior Support Worker - Remuneration:

Salary: £9.50-10.50 per hour depending on experience

The work location is based 2 minutes from the town centre railway station. You will work in warm and friendly environment in a beutiful building. On site gym is available as well as a subsidised canteen.

Please note this role is also subject to an enhanced DBS check being sucessfully obtained.
