A Children's Support Worker is required by our client who support children from the ages of 5 to 19 in the community of Buckinghamshire. The children are looked after within the Children's Services and as a children's support worker you will provide a high quality service to children, young people and their families based on an assessment of need.

You will be required to accompany and provide a range of fun and stimulating activities for the children and should be flexbile to travel to various activities and work a range of shifts, including weekends.

You should have experience in the following areas as Children's Services Team Leader:

+ NVQ level 2 in an Early Years Setting

+ Multi-agency social care, early years or health environment

+ Experience of applying safeguarding procedures

+ Experience of preparing clear and concise file notes and inputting information into Office systems

+ Able to prepare, organise, review and deliver individual and group work

+ Engage and work with children, young people and their families

+ Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
