12 Month initial Duration.

Technical Architect: You will join a leading IT Consultancy delivering a piece of work for a government agency. You will be responsible for working on a variety of projects and creating the overall solution design for each of these projects outlining how the current platform will be amended in order to accommodate the requirements of the project. It will be your job to ensure that you fully understand the existing platform and to work out the best way of achieving the project's objectives from an architectural perspective.

Your skills and experience

- Ability to interact with key stakeholders at a senior level with excellent communication skills

- Deep understanding of Microsoft based infrastructures (Windows Server 2016; SQL Server 2016

- Deep understanding of networking principles (LAN designs; routing; load balancing; DNS ; DHCP)

- Deep understanding of Cloud architecture across a variety of Cloud platforms including Azure and AWS

- Understanding of security architecture patterns

- Familiarity with firewall implementations

- Familiarity with virtualisation technologies
