Job Title: Test Manager

Location: Hertfordshire

Contract: 6 months+

Rate: £650 per day inside ir35

DV security clearance is required for this role

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the delivery of testing across the entire programme of testing
To manage multiple testing projects within a Programme ensuring a common testing approach
To produce a Test Strategy for all complexities testing requirements across multiple test phases, utilising a risk-based approach
To produce and review Test Plans for simple, all complexities testing requirements across multiple test phases, in line with the Test Strategy
To examine how good practice and breakthrough practices may be used to benefit internal and client-specific delivery

Essential Skills

At an expert level able to articulate and demonstrate a good understanding of Test Management: Responsibilities for the Test Analyst Improving the Testing Process Test Techniques Testing Software Quality Characteristics Reviews Defect Management Test Tools and Automation
People Skills - Team Composition
Has demonstrable in-depth experience in using common business technology (for example, MS Office suite of tools)
Has demonstrable specialist experience of using business technology within a specific domain; including at least one of the following: applications, infrastructure, security, networks

Desirable Skills

International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Test Manager Advanced Level Certification
PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification of one or more of the programmes listed below: Any - HP ExpertOne Programme Certification ALM QTP Loadrunner Any - Oracle Certified Professional Any - SAP Certified Application Associate Any - Microsoft Certified Professional Hands-on testing background earlier in career
Team Leadership within a testing team
