+ 6 month contract

+ London based - but remote working available

+ £450-500 per day

Key Skills:

Comfortable in putting together training materials and delivering training

The Role:

A requirement for an experienced Business Change/Training Lead to join the team on Department of Health. Working with the Programme Business Change Team once the Business Design Document and process maps are signed off to understand Training needs and scope of the release.

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Coordinating training sessions so that delegates and SMEs (WMS, OMT and Business Change) know when and where to be

  • Coordinating training materials being fed in from WMS, OMT (how we do things on the system) and Business change (how and why we are undertaking processes)

  • Getting materials sign off (training plan and TNA are created and are with Unipart for review, and cannot change that much as they follow the BDD TBDD and Maps and are very closely related for the TNA and training planning is based on how we can train, where we will train and what materials we will produce

  • Coordinate delegates and subject matter experts to attend training sessions

  • Book training sessions and ensure the client has the equipment / rooms booked

  • Review training plans, training needs analysis and training materials with client feedback

  • Test processes to be trained on Oracle

  • Act as first line support for queries from Change Champions

  • Coordinate queries from Change Champions and triage to the correct team, collate answers and feedback

  • Gather detail on anything coming up through training that is none compliant for the business, anything that has not been covered as part of the BDD/Mapping and feedback to the relevant SMEs

  • Understand the processes and why they are being undertaken to develop and maintain credibility with the client

  • Create and deliver show and tell sessions, either in conjunction with SMEs or without their support for more basic processes

  • Support colleagues in business change and comms to promote training and to stay ahead of what is coming up

  • Work with the release manager to ensure that all due items are delivered

  • Present at meetings as required

  • Coordinate meetings relating to training and ensure the correct delegates are invited and are aware of the purpose of the meeting and what will be discussed / Agenda

  • Attend all weekly project plan calls

  • Attend all daily project calls where available to

  • Work with the UAT team to ensure they know how the system works and that training and UAT are covering the same processes in the same way

  • Deal with any training tasks coming out of UAT

  • Manage training collateral, ensure it is in a repository that all can access (SCCL_CTRP Collaboration share point)

  • Manage access to the above SharePoint for change champions and anyone else needing to access training materials

  • Create / Coordinate the creation of further training materials, videos etcetera as requested from Change Champions

  • Ask for feedback on sessions and collate

  • Keep records of all training sessions - what, who, where, when
